NDIS-Registered Provider

 

 

Fun Ability is a registered provider and proud supporter of the National Insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS).

Please note that as of Thursday October 3, 2024 the legislation around NDIS supports has changed. 

This means that from this date forward, participants and their authorised representatives:

  • can only spend NDIS funding on things that are in the approved list of NDIS supports
  • cannot spend NDIS funding on things in the list of non-NDIS supports.

Obviously, these lists cannot include every single service or resource that a NDIS participant may need, and as we are not able to view or advise on your individual plan, we recommend applying the below questions to whether or not the NDIS is likely to approve and/or fund your purchase. 

  • Do I need this item because of my disability?  
  • Does it relate to what's written in my NDIS Plan?
  • Does it assist with meeting my needs and contribute to positive life outcomes? 
  • Is it within my support budget and/or plan?
  • Is it safe?

It may also be advisable to include support documentation from your relevant allied health professional regarding your purchase. 

Our Provider Registration Number is 4050080277 and we are approved to provide items under the following support categories in all states and territories.

NDIA MANAGED Participants

  • Select the items you wish to purchase and add them to checkout
  • Please make sure You enter the participants name and NDIS Number and Participants Date of Birth in (order notes section) upon entering in cart so we can include this on the invoice
  • Fill in your delivery details, select NDIA Managed as a payment method
  • Please provide any backup information eg. Do I need this item because of my disability? Does it relate to what's written in my NDIS Plan? Does it assist with meeting my needs and contribute to positive life outcomes? Is it within my support budget and/or plan?
  • We will then provide it to NDIS for approval which may take 2-5 days
  • Once paid in Full your goods will be sent out to you

 

SELF MANAGED Participants

  • Purchase your items through our Store using Credit Card, After Pay or PayPal.
  • you will receive a formal invoice in the parcel we also email one to you

PLAN MANAGED Participants

  • Select the items you wish to purchase and add them to checkout
  • Please make sure You enter the participants name and NDIS Number and plan managers email in (order notes section) upon entering in cart so we can include this on the invoice for your plan manager
  • Fill in your delivery details, select plan managed as a payment method
  • You will receive a formal invoice from us within 1 working day
  • If we have the email, we will also forward an invoice to you Plan Management Service Provider
  • Once paid in Full your goods will be sent out to you
